Chinese Kite Flying

Rules and Regulations

1. Registration: 1 – 23 March 2010 at Pocket D.

2. On-the-spot registration at the beginning of the game is available.

3. Each team must consist of only 2 participants.

4. Registration fee is RM3 per team as materials will be provided.

5. Materials can be collected on 21 March 2010 (Sunday) prior to the competition.

* Criteria – must use bamboo stick to represent Chinese tradition
* Research is encouraged in order to win the game

6. Participants are encouraged to attend the prize-giving ceremony on 24 March 2010 at Multi-Purpose Hall.

7. Architecture and design of the kite are flexible.

8. The team is required to create a slogan on the Red Sonata Fiesta.

9. Judging scheme will be based on:

* Design and creativity of kite
* Flying ability of kite
* Kite flying skills; more points gained if kite flies higher (measured by length of string used)
* Points will be given based on creativity and size of slogan
* Extra points will be given if kite remains in the air for 15 minutes after the first judgment.
